Course Description
All races begin with an invigorating journey through the lush forests and winding trails of South Beach State Park. Navigate through towering pines and dense undergrowth as you conquer the twists and turns of the course, testing both your strength and agility.
As you emerge from the park, the course leads you to the expansive shores of the Pacific Ocean. Feel the soft sand beneath your feet as you tackle approximately a mile of beach running, with the rhythmic sound of crashing waves serving as your soundtrack.
For runners in the 10k and 5k races, the entire course is set on the park's scenic trails, offering a thrilling off-road experience amidst towering trees and panoramic coastal views. Enjoy the challenge of navigating the undulating terrain as you push yourself to new heights.
Throughout the race, keep your eyes peeled for glimpses of wildlife, from soaring seabirds to playful seals frolicking in the waves. Take in the breathtaking scenery of the Oregon coast, with its dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, and endless expanse of sparkling ocean.
