OK STATE WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA RULES: Since Jan 1, 2011 anyone who enters any Okla Wildlife Management Area MUST HAVE an Okla hunting or fishing license or the new "Conservation Passport License", which costs $26, or a 3 day Conservation Pass for $15. You may go to a business who sells the license or pay $3 additional to get it online at https://www.wildlifedepartment.com. C&K Quick Stop in Erick sells them at 221 Roger Miller Blvd, Erick. This is a state statute and not a part of DoWackaDo Trail Runs & Gravel Rides.

CAMPING: Primitive camping is free at the race HQ area at Sandy Sanders WMA on Friday and Saturday nights. Camp in designated area only (unless sleeping in your vehicle with no additional campsite area set up). Fires may be banned, so watch the DWD FB page for announcements. Portable bathroom/shower facilities are provided by DWD for the events Fri-Mon.

TRAIL RUN INFO

COURSES: All run routes begin and end at the DoWackaDo North HQ. All 4 runs are loops within the Sandy Sanders WMA. The trails are mostly graded ranch roads through 220 ft canyonlands. The half marathon trail run is 1 loop from the headquarters south and back, the marathon is two loops, and the 50 mile is four loops.

The 5 mile is a loop that takes a cut-thru on the half marathon route.

AID STATIONS: There are AID STATIONS approximately every 4 miles (2.5 miles on the 5 mile). The Aid Stations will be stocked with water, gatorade, sweet and salty snacks. 

DROP BAG ZONE:   For the marathon and 50 mile will be at the run start/finish line. We will take drop bags to the second aid station for those who want them there.   

CUTOFF TIMES: 14.5 hrs cutoff for the 50 mile & marathon.

RUN AWARDS:  Awards given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the 5 mile, half marathon, marathon, and 50 mile runs. Awards ceremonies will be held ad-hoc by the race officials as races finish for each distance.

FINISHER MEDALS: To all finishers of the half marathon, marathon, and 50 mile runs. Special Awards for for all 50 mile DWD finishers.  

T-SHIRTS: Guaranteed with run & gravel ride registration if registered by August 20.  

GRAVEL BIKE RIDE INFO

GENERAL: Gravel Rides begin and end at the start finish of the runs on Sunday.  Start time is 8 a.m..  The rides are self-supported with some rolling support.   Routes will be well marked.  Routes are scenic country roads with some moderately hilly terrain mostly clay loam base with fine gravel.  Rolling and stationary support but be prepared to take care of your own flats, minor repairs, liquids, nutrition; and minor first aid.

DISTANCES: 20, 40, and 60 Mile Routes.

AWARDS: 1st through 3rd male and female overall awards for the 40 and 60 mile rides.

T-SHIRTS: Guaranteed with run & gravel ride registration if registered by Aug 20st.
