2023 Trail Running Film Festival

Join us on Sunday, April 2 for the 2023 Trail Running Film Festival, a two-hour celebration on film of this wild, wonderful trail running community! The Portland, Maine screening of the 2023 Trail Running Film Festival is co-hosted and sponsored by the Runaways Run Club and Urban Farm Fermentory.
The mission of the Trail Running Film Fest is to celebrate running as a universal practice, to explore our collective and individual potential, and to pursue our wildest dreams. The film festival creators accomplish this by documenting the culture of trail running, supporting filmmakers and creatives, and hosting events that bring our community together. We are committed to promoting inclusivity, adventure, wilderness, art, and diversity across the trail and ultra community.

Filmmaker Fund

A portion of your ticket price will directly support the filmmaker fund:
“We are committed to working towards equal representation in the creative and films that we present. Supporting filmmakers in their work to document and explore our sport is core to our mission. Help us support amazing filmmaker bring their stories to the screen."

Northeast Runners Alliance

A portion of the ticket sales will also support a local nonprofit, Northeast Runners Alliance. NeRA is an alliance of road and trail runners from around the Northeastern United States.

Our primary mission is to build and connect a community centered around running that encourages engagement and collaboration, stewardship, and responsible use of shared spaces.

Our secondary mission is to foster diversity, inclusion, and access to the sport of running in all forms. Road or trail, recreational or competitive, we believe there is a place for everybody.

We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit.
