The Weekend

Truly something for everyone. Start your mornings with yoga or hike out to catch the sunrise. Hit the trails for a long run and a swim. Cycle out to panoramic vistas or find a cold creek to escape the heat. Finish the day relaxing by the campfire or in the hot-tub.

We’ll even have some fun challenges throughout the weekend for the competitive folks.

Click on the images below for each days outline of activities.

-Thursday Night Campers will check-in starting at 3PM.

The Venue

Mulberry Gap Basecamp is located in the heart of the designated "Mountain Bike Capital of Georgia," in the vast Cohutta Wilderness in the Chattahoochee National Forest.

You'll find countless miles of gravel, mountain biking and hiking trails right outside of our gates — Pinhoti, Bear Creek, Mountaintown Creek, Windy Gap, Milma — as well as the Cohutta Wilderness Area.

Accommodations

We have a mix of cabins and campsites reserved for you. Cabins can accommodate up to 4 persons each, most are setup with a king/queen bed and either 2 bunk beds or 2 twins in a single room. Larger cabins are available if needed - just reach out prior to registering to confirm availability.

Cabin reservations require a 2 person minimum, if you are traveling solo and do not want to be paired with other solo campers, please register for a private cabin instead. As long are you're traveling with at least one friend or family member you may register for a standard cabin and we will pair you together in your own cabin.

Their prices are as follows:

*Dining hall meals are served on a schedule that may not align with ours.

FAQ's

What do I need to bring?
-Yourself, a loved one, a few friends, camping gear if you’re camping, and an appetite for adventure.

What does the schedule look like?
-We’re still working on an action packed weekend itinerary for you and will provide a tentative schedule soon. Have an idea for an activity you’d like to lead or facilitate? Let us know!

Could I bring my pet?
-Yes! Read more about Mulberry Gap Basecamps rules and fees regarding pets here.

Could my kids join?
-Kids of all ages are welcome at Mulberry Gap Basecamp. We even have a very gracious certified teacher on our crew willing to supervise the little ones and provide activities for them while you play in the mountains. However, we do ask that parents supervise their own children as long as they're back at camp. Ages 4 and under are free to stay at Mulberry Gap and attend the camp with you, but we ask that at least one parent stays with any children ages 3 or younger at all times.

What if I don’t have a bike?
-No problem. If you’d still like to ride we will work to find a rental for you. If you prefer not to ride bikes for the weekend that’s fine too!

Could I get my drink on?
-Yes, you could ; )

*BYOB

What if I’d like to join but I’m not that adventurous?
-We’ll have a variety of support roles and volunteer opportunities available that you may be perfect for! Send us a message and we’ll go from there.

What is the difference between private cabin and shared cabin?
Cabins have a two person minimum occupancy requirement. If you are a solo attendee and would like a cabin to yourself only, then you will need to book a 'Private Cabin'. If you are traveling with at least one friend and meet the 2 party minimum, you only need to reserve a 'Cabin' and make sure to list your party members on the next page (*reminder that each attendee needs to register separately.) If you are a solo attendee and do not mind being paired with other attendees, you may register for 'Cabin'.
