Come Run, Come All to Dirt Circus Phoenix!

The Dirt Circus is coming to Phoenix, Arizona, partnering with Sole Sports Running Zone.
Dirt Circus is an event series created by UltraSignup to bring together the local running community and celebrate everything we love about trail running. The one-day festival will highlight local run companies and clubs and includes a social run as a community, food, entertainment, camaraderie, and so much more. Come and join us under the big top.

Origin Story

In 2020, UltraSignup sold to new owners, a group of runners who were amazed by how the trail running community rallied to support one another through the pandemic. They had an idea to celebrate trail running in a whole new way in late 2021, organized the first Trail Party. The response was incredible. The community was hungry to connect, to gather, to celebrate all things trail running. And so in 2023, we took all that enthusiasm and dreamed up the Dirt Circus.

Why a Circus? Once upon a time, ultrarunning looked a little different. The sport has its roots in pedestrianism, where people would gather under the big top and walk and run for sport. Bets were made, the limits were pushed, and popularity soared. So come entertain yourselves with us, under the metaphorical big top.

Schedule, October 21, 2023

7:30 am Group Run check-in at: Papago Park.

Enjoy a casual 5K run with friends from the local run community. The group will break up to ensure we don't overrun the trails and that all running paces are accommodated.

9:00-9:30 Return from the Group Run, Mingle, Drive to Hundred Mile Brewing
Join us at Hundred Mile Brewing for the Expo and party! We recommend parking at the nearby Tempe Town lake marina and walking over.

10:00-10:30 - Mingle - Enter Raffles by 10:30!
11:00am - 1:00pm - Brand Expo, Food, Live Podcast by Joe Corcione with Everyday Ultra Podcast
We'll have brand booths and tables set up at Hundred Mile Brewing
