An inclusive trail running retreat for women who love to run farther! Get ready for a fun learning experience while exploring some of the finest trails in the Mammoth Lakes area, led by pro trail runner Katie Asmuth, and UESCA certified ultra running coaches Nancy Shura-Dervin and Sarah Ter Har! Happening July 21-24, 2023. Get ready to make some new friends, learn helpful knowledge about trail and ultra running, and smile so much your face will hurt!

Note: this is an inclusive event; it's a welcome space for everyone who identifies as female.

Guided Trail Workshops:

A sampling of topics covered included power hiking, downhill running, and running at night. An established running base of 25 miles per week is recommended. Our coaches ensure no one is left behind, and all runs are designed as out-and-backs based on time, so those not running as far will turn around sooner. Never ran trails before? No problem- we'll teach you! As long as you have the recommended base from running on pavement or on a treadmill, you'll be good to go.

Educational Sessions:

From the basics to the details, informative lessons will provide you with the tools you need to be safe and successful on your trail running adventures. Want to learn to run longer but haven't yet? We got you. We will be teaching topics such as basic nutrition, heat training, injury prevention, and how to run trails safely and prepared.

Yoga + Strength and Conditioning:

Enjoy bonding with friends while learning some core strength and yoga exercises specifically geared for trail running athletes. We will also be teaching about injury prevention and how strength training can help.

What is included

This package includes an awesome swag bag including trail running shoes, a running vest, running socks, bag of coffee and more. You will also make epic memories, spending time with pro trail runner Katie Asmuth, get excellent education on and off the trail, have five meals provided with vegetarian options (one breakfast, two lunches, two dinners), have the chance to make new friends, and gain the knowledge needed to run trails more confidently.

Registration on UltraSignup secures your spot with an initial deposit of $300. Ultra Ladies will then send emailed invoices for the remaining balance.

Lodging is not included. Our event location host is Juniper Springs Resort. They are providing the group rates shown below. Your registration confirmation includes the booking link for accessing these rates.
