COURSE NOTES

TRAIL RUNNING AWESOMENESS awaits! Join us as the Way Over Yonder Trail Run Series Heads just over the NJ state line to Sterling Forest NY. The loops are different from other trail runs that have taken place at Sterling in the past and a good challenge. "HALF MARATHON" Loop will be 14 Miles with 1800 ft elevation gain. MARATHON will do two Half Loops and will be in the 28 mile range - right between Marathon and 50K distances. There's also a 10K loop for runners that are looking for something shorter and we've been able to dial that to a true 6.2 mile run. Marathon cutoff 3hr 30 minutes cutoff to start second loop. We'll be taking a page out of the Barkley Marathon for this adventure. Half Marathon & Marathon racers will rip a page from a book at each check point. You'll need to carry the pages and turn them in at finish to prove you've completed the entire course. We'll be bringing in a spread including fresh bagels, coffee, fruit and cold drinks for post race celebrations.

You do not have to have run in any of the prior Way Over Yonder series races to be eligible to race this one.
Points for Top 15 overall in Marathon and 10 Year Age Groups for Half Marathon & 10K Age Group. Overall Series Rankings are on our website: https://rsgadventures.com/2023-woy-trail-run-series/

WINNERS

All runners will get a special limited edition wooden plaque commemorating your Awesome finish!
We'll have Equal Mens & Womens Podiums with Top 3 for Marathon and Age Group Awards for Half Marathon & 10K. (19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) Winners will receive medals + Sneaker Factory Running Centers gift certificates.
