Andalé Racing Club 5K & 1 Mile December Trail Run

5380 N Northwood Rd, Kansas City, MO 64151

Kansas City, MO Cross Country & Trail, 5K Trail Race, 1 Mile Trail Race

This Event Took Place Sat. Jun 10, 2023

Description of the Race

The Andalé Racing Club or me, Coach Ben, puts on a race every month at Michael Gunn Park at Platte Meadows in Platte County, Missouri.

The races are on the second Saturday of every month of 2023 so we have two races left. The courses change every month. Andalé Racing Club is proud to support the USATF-MUT Youth Trail movement, providing young runners a discount at trail and mountain races. Runners eighteen and under can race at Andalé Racing Club events for free.

Here's the deal. I need more adults to run my races. The entry fees paid by the adults fund the ability to do this free for kids. You get a medal, you get a shirt, supported and staffed aid station, photos, and finish line food. Not to mention I've added bubbles. Oh yes...bubbles.

The code for anyone under 18 to register with a 100% discount is FREE18

Course

100% Trail Race – “So what does that mean Coach Ben?” I’m glad you asked. It’s sort of a hybrid between single track on grass, rough grass, long grass, single track in the woods, two small water crossing you can jump, crushed limestone/gravel trail, dirt, and lots of pokey things sticking out of the ground. It’s not easy but it’s fun and it has sections you can really flow on. Uneven surfaces, questionable footing, it’s fantastic.
