SUFFER'N BEAR ULTRA
A Redpoint ultra trail event presented by and benefitting the NYNJ Trail Conference. Harriman State Park is home to more than just the AT. With over 200 miles of trail, it's home to some of the most challenging terrain in the NE.
UPDATE on the course: Since the July floods in VT and NY, we have been working closely with the park to move forward with this event and find a viable course. The Hudson Valley and specifically the eastern portion of Harriman State Park sustained massive damage to its trail/road system, putting a huge burden on the park resources. (see the posted park alerts and closing Map HERE!).
Thankfully, through a decade-long relationship with the park we were able to keep our event and find a way to limit impact on the trails. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the park personnel who have been working tirelessly to return the park to a usable state over the past several months.
September 30 will be the first annual event, even though we've been a part of hosting ultras in Harriman/Bear for over a decade! Come join us!
BENEFITTING THE NYNJ Trail Conference!
None of this would be possible without the hard work of the NYNJ Trail Conference team. They continue to maintain and develop these unique trails year after year.

Amazing volunteers will treat you to some great food at the staffed stations. We typically like to have Skratch at our events for a drink. There will be the normal ultra running staples, like PB&J, pretzels, chips, some candy and fruit... and of course broth and perogies. And don't discount the possibility of quesadillas, wraps or bacon either ... we do take requests and are happy to try to accommodate as best we can. Let us know!
CREW / SPECTATORS / PACERS
Spectators will have access to all the aid stations to crew and cheer for racers
50Mile pacers can join their racer at Mile 32 (BaseCamp AS) or Mile 39/46 (Skannatati AS).
