About Super D and his run across Texas

Running With Purpose 365 and The 365 Concept "We Build The Best Version Of You So You Can Live The Best Version Of You". Hello, my name is Dustin Weaver, and I am on a mission to change the world and transform the face of addiction. One out of three people who engage in alcohol use or overuse are at significant risk of destroying their lives and losing their livelihood, regardless of their background. This silent problem is rarely discussed, and most people refuse to address it until it becomes severe. For most of my life, everything has been a blur due to alcoholism. I am determined to stay sober and help others suffering from the same disease find a new life. Purpose: My purpose in life is to help others live a better life, filled with purpose, and to help them become the best versions of themselves so they can live the best version of themselves. WHY: The number one reason I run is because it keeps me focused, clear-headed, and sober. Running is my form of recovery. Through running, I have found a new way of life, love, and happiness. The second reason is to raise awareness for those who are starting a life of sobriety or struggling to navigate the hardships of addiction. I want to help those currently battling this illness. The third reason is to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage people to step out of their comfort zones. This run serves as a platform for my success in changing lives in various ways. Throughout this journey, I hope to move, motivate, and inspire people to live a life free from addiction. The Route: The route covers approximately 880-1000 miles from North to South, starting in Texline Texas, and ending in Brownsville, Texas. The goal is to run an average of 35 miles per day, with some longer and shorter runs. This is a self-supported solo run that will take me across the open Texas backroads during the Fall season in Texas. There will be several motel stops along the journey, with only 1-2 days off from running to allow for rest and recovery. The main stop will be in San Antonio, approximately halfway through the run. Self-supported means that I, Dustin, will push a running stroller containing all necessary supplies and hydration. At the moment there will be no support vehicles or assistance from any team members unless medical attention is required. My most recent accomplishments include finishing 3 Ironman races, 4 half Ironman distances, participating in over 15 ultra marathons, completing 30 triathlons, running 52 marathons in 52 days, and participating in numerous live marathon events. In total, I have covered well over 10,000 training miles, which has prepared me immensely for this journey. This endeavor can only be achieved with the love and support of sponsors like you. For more information on how you can help or become a member, please email me at runweaver1@gmail.com. Everyone has the potential to make that change, and I am here to support as many people as possible. Addiction does not define us; it is our conscious telling us that it is who we have to be. We will confront addiction head-on and tell it, "NO MORE"!

The 365 Concept Mission

"We run for Substance Abuse Awareness. Our mission is to make a profound impact on the lives of individuals struggling with substance abuse by raising awareness and promoting change within our nation and communities. By embarking on an extraordinary 1,000-mile journey across the great state of Texas, we aim to inspire support, compassion, and understanding for those affected by addiction.

Our mission is driven by the belief that everyone deserves an opportunity for recovery, healing, and a brighter future. We strive to break the stigma surrounding substance abuse and foster a culture of empathy, education, and intervention. Through our run, we aim to engage individuals, communities, and organizations to take an active role in combating addiction, encouraging open dialogue, and providing resources for those in need.

As we traverse the vast landscapes of Texas, we will unite people from all walks of life, empowering them to join our cause. By sharing stories of resilience, hope, and triumph, we will amplify the voices of those who have overcome addiction, shed light on the challenges they face, and highlight the support systems that enable recovery. Through our dedicated efforts, we will raise funds to support substance abuse prevention programs, treatment facilities, counseling services, and community initiatives.

We will collaborate with local organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to develop comprehensive strategies that address the root causes of substance abuse, promote early intervention, and ensure accessible support for all individuals seeking help. Our mission is to build a future where every person battling addiction receives the care, understanding, and opportunities necessary for lasting recovery.

We invite you to stand with us, support our journey, and contribute to a society that embraces compassion, breaks down barriers, and fosters a brighter tomorrow for those affected by substance abuse. Together, we can make a difference. Join us in running for substance abuse awareness and join the movement towards a healthier, more empathetic nation.
