Welcome runners to the inaugural Rocktown 25k & 10k Trail Race!

This is a very special mountain that boasts Georgia's most stunning boulder field, a number of waterfalls, ridgeline views, and a tunnel through the mountain that all runners pass through. The 25k is around 2,500 feet of elevation gain, and the 10k is around 1,000 feet of elevation gain.

** There will be 2 aid stations for the 10k runners at around miles 2.3 and 3.1
** There will be 3 aid stations for the 25k runners at miles 2.3, 8.9 and 12

Parking for the race will be at the end of Estelle Mines Road within Crockford-Pigeon Mountain in Lafayette, GA off of Highway 193. Since this is a Wildlife Management Area, all runners most have either a Georgia Lands Pass, Fishing License, or a Hunting License to run here. It's quick and easy to sign up if you do not have one already, and it allows you to be on all public lands for recreating in Georgia. Funds from these licenses go directly to the WMA's across Georgia to help with park infrastructure, trail maintenance, wildlife management, etc.
