The Race

Fight the Stigma Trail Run consists of 2hr, 4hr, and 8hr time slots. Runners will run the Ridge Trail Loop, a well groomed single track course. Runners must check in with race staff after each lap to verify they have run a single lap, before heading back out on the course. This is a perfect race for people looking to log some long miles or even beginners looking to move at their own pace! We had a change of heart and have decided to update the rules for finishing the run... If you return to the starting line, as long as there is at least .1 second remaining in your timed event, you may start another lap and the mileage will count! ( You're welcome:) ) All race times will start at 8 a.m. on May 11th, 2024 at Lake Lurleen State Park.

Aid Station

We will have a full-service aid station at the start finish line with gels, carbs, water, etc. Please let us know if you would like any vegan options so we can suite your needs! Feel free to set up personal aid stations in the parking lot of the park or just make your car an aid station!

Prizes

All finishers will receive a special customized finisher poker chip! We will have race day shirts as well! To guarantee a shirt with your entry, please register by APRIL 12TH, 2024!! We may have extras available but we cant be sure. Top male and female in each group will receive an even more special prize!

The Benefit

All proceeds of (registration fees, sponsorships, and donations) from the event will benefit, Tuscaloosa Mental Health Alliance to help them further their mission of improving mental health in the Tuscaloosa Area. This is something we are very passionate about and look forward to helping them!
