About

This is a mostly flat and scenic USATF-certified out-and-back rail-to-trail course (fine-crushed hard-packed gravel) on the historic Frisco Highline Trail.

Please note the maps shown are the certified distances so the labels show one-half of your race on the official title, it is an out-and-back.

Course

All on the Frisco Highline Trail, all distances are USATF certified–marathon is a
Boston qualifier!
· 50 Mile Ultramarathon - Willard to Hwy U (Mile 25, near Bolivar, MO) and back
· 50K Ultramarathon - Willard to historic Graydon Springs (Mile 15.5) and back.
· Marathon - Willard to Ridgerunners Rest Stop (Mile 13.1) and back
· Half Marathon - Willard to near N Farm Road 65 (Mile 6.55) and back
· 8K - Willard to Cotner's Corner and back

NO DOGS OR STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE!

Optional Early Start for 50-Mile and 50K

*50-Mile and 50K participants who do not think they can finish in 12 hours, have the option to start at 4am instead of the regular 6am start time. Email us at omrrultra@gmail.com if you plan to take this option. Please note, aid stations will not be setup until 6am so plan on self-support until then. If you choose the 4am start time, you will not be eligible for awards.

Drop Bags

Only 50K and 50 Mile runners are allowed drop bags.

The 50K drop bags will go to Aid Station Foxtrot (mile 15.5).
The 50 Mile drop bags will go to Aid Station Hotel (mile 25).

Drop bags may be any container - bag, plastic bin, backpack, etc. Please clearly label drop bags with your bib number and distance.
Please take drop bags inside Willard Middle School's lobby on race morning and place them in the designated location for your distance.

An aid station volunteer will pick these up and transport them to the aid station location.

After use, make sure that items are packed back into the bag or container. Place the bag back on the designated location for transport back to the finish line. Every effort will be made to get your drop bag back to the finish line as quickly as possible.

Gear Check

Any runner may have a gear check bag. Gear check will be available at Willard Middle School's lobby on race morning and place them in the designated location. Gear check bags can be a bag, backpack, plastic container, etc. Please clearly label the gear check bag with your bib number and distance. Gear check bags may be left at the school on Saturday morning. Gear bags left at the school will be moved to the finish line after the races start, for your convenience to pick up.

Age Restrictions

To run the marathon, 50K, or 50 Mile, you must be 18 or over on race day. To run the half marathon, you must be 13 or over on race day.

Inclement Weather

The average temperature at the race start is 42 degrees. We hold our race in rain, snow, sleet, hail, and sunshine. We will delay due to lightning in the area, but we have rarely canceled a race due to weather.

Parking

There will be ample parking in the middle school parking lot.

Start/Finish Line

The Start/Finish Line is conveniently in the middle school parking lot.

Porta-potties

Located at the school parking lot. and as noted at all aid stations except miles 2.5.

Aid Stations

Miles 2.5, 5*, 7.5*, 10*, 13*, 15.5*, 20*, 25*. Aid stations will have water, electrolyte drink, soda, gels, and fruit. 15.5, 20, and 25 may have extra goodies TBD. *station has port-a-potty
