Overview

This is a relaxed and free run. Definitely not a race. There will be timing. There will be minimal aid on course. There will be no awards. There will be no swag. It will be challenging.

The run will start at the lodge of Black Mountain of Maine at 39 Glover Road in Rumford, Maine. Restrooms will be available at the lodge. Runners/power hikers will ascend the Black and White trail to the top of Black Mountain and descend into the valley between Black Mountain and Rumford White Cap. They will then ascend Rumford White Cap and descend towards the trailhead on Andover Road. Runners will then trace their steps back to Black Mountain of Maine.
Roughly 25km and 6,000 feet of gain and rocky root-filled trails. There are no flats, only ups and downs. This is not an easy course and participants are responsible for their own well-being and safety. Real East Coast trail running.

There will be minimal aid station in the valley between the peaks and at the base of both Rumford White Cap and Black Mountain of Maine.
