SFRC / Marin Headlands Training Run
4/17 UPDATE: There are a LOT of runners registered for this epic day! PLEASE help us mitigate a parking lot debacle by carpooling if possible! SFRC is telling us that you can use the Manzanita lot at the freeway exit and jog over for a nice warm up. It's going to be a dang fun party but we do need to be considerate of the other businesses in the area so customers can enjoy their services. Please help us play nice with the other local merchants so that we're welcomed back again. Thanks in advance!
Event's current local time: 9:53 AM PT
Join us and our friends at San Francisco Running Company for a fun and friendly Marin Headlands training run!
This is an inclusive event for runners of all abilities! Whether you are racing with us this June, have raced with us in the past or are considering joining our little family .... please come enjoy some miles with us! We've partnered with the fine folks at SFRC to create two awesome routes for your enjoyment. They truly "get" the ethos and vibe we have always tried to promote at the Broken Arrow Skyrace and are a force for fostering trail community in the Bay Area. In addition to being our generous host, SFRC is offering all training run participants 15% off ANYTHING in the shop (*minor exceptions apply) AND 20% off Salomon hydration vests!
We've designed two courses for your enjoyment, both of which are designed to be as welcoming and inclusive as possible while enjoying the world-class views the Marin Headlands have to offer. Please head over to our Strava Club Page for full details but note the longer distance leaves shortly after 8am and the shorter distance at 9am. Salomon and Leki will join the party with product demos and don't forget that we will have a full aid-station celebration feast afterwards, topped off with tasty beverages from Sierra Nevada and Best Day Brewing.
And, of course, if you have ever joined us for one of these runs, you will know that our raffles are LEGENDARY! We will have some sweet prizes from our friends at Salomon, Garmin, Leki, Victory Sport Design and Darn Tough Vermont Socks...and, of course, plenty of Broken Arrow swag.
After the raffle, we will run! Please note that there will be no aid stations or supplies EXCEPT at the start, so please be sure to bring a hydration pack or two water bottles.
