Our Mission

Around the world, folks in our military make great personal sacrifices and risk their lives to protect freedom and our way of life. In June, we will have an opportunity to show our appreciation and do our part. As part of this, EnerSys is sponsoring a 5k run on June 12th in Reading, Pennsylvania OR virtually to support two important Veteran’s charities:

-Team RWB (Team Red White and Blue)

-BVO Brotherhood of Veterans Outdoors

Both charities are more than worthy of ALL our support! Team RWB’s mission is to enrich the lives of Veterans through social and physical activities as well as community service events. This is an organization with local chapters nationally that help Veterans recover from challenges by providing the comradery, challenges and sense of duty that they all require. BVO is a bit different in that their mission is to provide Veterans and their families the facilities and equipment to enjoy outdoor activities in a place that is their own.

Proceeds from this race will be donated to both Team RWB and BVO.

We invite you to join us either in Reading, PA. at the EnerSys Global HQ on June 12th or participate virtually with your family and friends at your convenience!!

Together we can enrich the lives of our Veterans and maybe get in a little better shape at the same time!!

In Person 5k

Join us before the event to meet with vendors, enjoy some great snacks and of course to pick up your race bib and race shirt!
All participants will receive a finishing medal!!
Post race dinner and Beer provided!

Virtual 5k

Don't live close to Reading PA? That's ok we have a virtual option so you can show your suport to our veterans!
You will still recive a bib, shirt and finishers medal! your swag will be mailed shortly after the live event on June 12th.
Run or walk your 5k anytime at your convience.
