Welcome to the 12th annual Patapsco Valley 50k AND the 4th running of the Patapsco Valley 25k! We are excited to have our race headquarters back at CCBC-Catonsville!
ALL runners, including virtual runners, will receive a high-quality Brooks event shirt, an additional PV50K/25K logo premium item (knit hat, socks, gloves, buffs are examples of previous premiums we have offered), a scenic and historic well-marked trail course, 5 well-stocked aid stations run by some of the best volunteers in ultra-running, post-race food and drink, and a one-of-a-kind finishers award: PV50K finishers receive our famous, unique and coveted hand-thrown mug- 25K finishers can expect an amazing finishers medal when you cross the line. Runners will be going COUNTERCLOCKWISE on the course in 2025!
*PLEASE NOTE*- Patapsco Valley State Park has ultimate say-so over our event. There have been times in the past where extreme weather events have caused the park to pull our event permit, causing us to postpone or cancel the in-person event. Our weather backup date is Sunday, October 26th, 2025. Any runners unable to run on the backup date or if the event is canceled in totality will be placed in the virtual run category. We do not offer deferrals. Runners who request
a refund of race registration costs before September 25th, 2025 will receive your registration fee minus $30. Requests for cancellation/refund on or after September 25th, 2025 will not receive any portion of their registration fees refunded. UltraSignup fees, taxes, and other charges are non-refundable.

Virtual: Runners will have from October 25th-November 25th, 2025 to run 50k or 25k on their own chosen course. Anywhere, anytime. Runners will submit their results to the race directors upon completion via the UltraSignup website. Your shirt, finishers award, and other swag will be mailed to you at no additional cost. Virtual runners will receive all of the same goodies as everyone else, with the convenience of being able to run on their own terms.

The start finish will be in the multi-use fields near the back of the campus adjacent to the tennis courts. Please park in Lot 6.
Start Time & Cutoff
Race Start: 50k: 7:30a 25k: 8:30a
Race Close: 5:30p- Any runner who finishes after the 10 hour limit will be recognized as an "Unofficial Finisher" in the official results.
Cutoff (50k runners only): Runners who do not finish their 1st loop by 12:15pm will be asked to discontinue their run and enjoy the post-race meal.
