Race Overview

The Grace Creek Grinder is a FREE running event made to raise money for to try to fix flooding issues/build better trails on the local Grace Creek MTB trail so it can be used year round. Cash donations are accepted on race day. This event has 3 distances: Loopdy Loop (run as many loops as you want), 100K, and 100 Miles

Fat Butt Styled Event

This is a fatbutt-styled event - bring your own nutrition and tracking device. We will provide water, warmth, belt buckles to 62 mile finishers and 100 mile finishers, maybe some music. 50 People MAX.

Course Overview

- Surface: Dirty and rooty single track
- Course: Grace Creek MTB Trail 2.5M Loops
- Elevation: 100ft of climbing and descending for each LOOP
- Location: Back of Old Movie Theater: 720 S US 259, Longview, TX 75604
- Weather: Historically 37-58 degree weather.

Distance Drops

We do not allow distance drops on the day of the run. You must finish the distance you sign up for, if you don't, it will count as a DNF (Did Not Finish). However, you can drop your distance all the way up to the day before the event. If you're not sure you can run 62 or 100 miles... sign up for the loopdy loop!

Flugers & Gorman

This trail wouldn't be here still if it wasn't for Flugers. They have adopted this trail from the city. It is the only public dirt hiking trail in the City of Longview TX. We want to show our appreciation for Flugers and all they do for the outdoor community here. Gorman McCracken Volkswagen owns the old movie theater and is allowing is to park on their property.
