Race Overview
What better way to spend the afternoon with your family than adventuring by bike and foot in the woods! This might be a short “kid distance” event, but it won’t be short on adventure. It’ll just be tailored to giving your kids a great low pressure race experience. Some of the checkpoints will be “geo-cache” style, where every youth racer will collect treasures/toys/treats as part of the course. There will be several “opt out” points where teams with littler ones can shorten each leg to stay within the “emotional fun-zone” and avoid a full-fledged meltdown. All-kid teams will be allowed for children over 12 with at least one teammate 14 or older. (Parent signature etc required).
We say it starts at 10 am, however it is a rolling start. We know how it is getting little ones somewhere on time, so if you are late, don't worry, you can start between 11 and 1 pm and do as much of the course as you wish!
Our 2023 race was a huge hit, and we are thrilled to be offering this addition to our race calendar.
Race will be a friendly-competitive event, with no official ranking or divisions. We will equally distribute all sponsor prizes.
