NEW LOCATION

Due to the recent hurricanes, historic river cresting, and extreme flooding, Colt Creek State Park is experiencing extensive standing water that the land cannot absorb. Unfortunately, this means the hiking trails are closed. We will relocate the race to a “new to us” section of the Withlacoochee Forest in Hernando/Holder, FL. (Citrus County)

The new location is Two Mile Prairie Tract. The race will begin at the Bear Head Trailhead and will use the Bear Head Hammock Trail and the Johnson Pond Trail. These trails are a little more “wild” than the well-groomed trails at Colt Creek, but they are beautiful and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to discover a new place!

Course Description

There are now FOUR distances, for those who want an "extra kick"...

The "Colt Double Malt" is the 45 miler with a BONUS LOOP thrown in for a total of 60 miles.
The "Original Colt 45" is three 14-mile loops with a 3-mile starter loop for a total of 45 miles.
The "Colt Silver" is two 14-mile loops which equals a 45K.
The "Colt Mini" replaces the furlongs distance and will be 1 x 14M loop.

The course will be open from 7am-11:59 pm for all four distances.

Packet Pickup begins 1 hour before race start times, beginning at 5:45am

AID STATIONS -
There will be 3 aid stations per loop.


POST-RACE:
Handcrafted Finisher Awards will go to all who finish. The top three male and female runners for each distance will also be presented with an award. Once you get your award, grab a camp chair, hang out at the post-race picnic, and cheer on the other runners!

Rollover Policy

A1 Ultra Events does not have a refund policy. However, registered runners can earn a "rollover credit". The rollover credit option is a 70% credit towards the following year. (Up to 7 day before the race) Participants who choose this option need to re-register for the race the following year and their credit will be waiting at checkout.
