Who: Bend Racing and CrossFit Fort Vancouver
What: USARA/ARWS Regional Championships 30 hour adventure race
When: June 28-30
Where: Ashford, WA
Come explore the flanks of Mt Rainier in the Rainier RAID!
Mt Rainier is an all time favorite of all Pacific Northwest mountaineers! We will start in Ashford, WA just two hours from Portland, Oregon. We will have views of Mt Rainier much of the race.
Race start/finish: 46.76004, -122.03503
The race start and finish will be at Whittaker Mountaineering, a historic piece of mountaineering history.
There will be amazing views, epic trekking, mountain biking and some paddling too!
We aim to find the best features for you to test your map and compass skills. Expect plenty of control points, reentrants, attack points, backstops, hand rails and more!
Ropes is still TBD, but we will be updating this and sending out newsletters starting two months from the race.
The pro course will be approximately 30 hours while the standard course will be 18 hours. This course is meant to be accessible to beginners and advanced teams.
