About the Race

Embark on a breathtaking journey through the untamed beauty of the famous South Bay Area hills, where the rugged trails of Mt. Umunhum meet the scenic wonders of Quicksilver State Park.

Introducing the ultimate trail running experience, an adventure that transcends boundaries – the Mt. Umunhum Marathon, Race to the Top and Down Trail Race.

This Marathon race starts at the Hacienda Entrance of Almaden Quicksilver Park and will take you up to the top of the exclusive Mt. Umunhum. You will then race back to the bottom. A tour-de-force of one of the Bay Area's giants!

7:00 AM — Registration & Bib Pick Up Opens
7:45 AM — Trail Briefing
8:00 AM — Race Start
