Come Run, Come All to Dirt Circus Flower Mound!

The Dirt Circus is coming to Flower Mound, Texas, partnering with TrailHead Running Supply.

Dirt Circus is a series of free community events organized by UltraSignup to celebrate local races, and race directors. We are bringing together the local running community to share everything we love about trail running. The one-day festival will highlight local races, run clubs, brands, and other local businesses. The event includes a social run, food, a raffle with tons of prizes, camaraderie, and so much more. Come and join us under the big top.

Schedule, October 19, 2024

8:00 am - Group Run check-in at TrailHead Running Supply, Flower Mound, TX.
Give yourself time to talk to shoe brands and throw on some demo shoes for the group run.
8:30am - Group Run Starts
Enjoy a casual 5K run with friends from the local run community. The group will break up to ensure we don't overrun the trails and that all running paces are accommodated.

10:00am - 10:30am - Return from Group Run, Mingle - Enter Raffles by 10:30!

10:30am - 1:00pm - Brand Expo, Panel Conversations
We'll have brand booths and tables set up at TrailHead Running Supply

11:00: Tavern Opens and food is available
12:00: Panels with RDs begin
12:30: Raffle Prize Winners drawn!

Origin Story

In 2020, UltraSignup sold to new owners, a group of runners who were amazed by how the trail running community rallied to support one another through the pandemic. They had an idea to celebrate trail running in a whole new way in late 2021, organized the first Trail Party. The response was incredible. The community was hungry to connect, to gather, to celebrate all things trail running. And so in 2023, we took all that enthusiasm and dreamed up the Dirt Circus.

Why a Circus? Once upon a time, ultrarunning looked a little different. The sport has its roots in pedestrianism, where people would gather under the big top and walk and run for sport. Bets were made, the limits were pushed, and popularity soared. So come entertain yourselves with us, under the metaphorical big top.
