1ST ANNUAL FALL CLASSIC!

We're super excited to be on the LHHT in the Fall. A throwback to 2020, but without the masks!

The Inaugural LHU Fall Classic will be the first ever REVERSE 50K! Starting at Mile 31 (Rt 31) and ending in Ohiopyle. Since we won't be finishing at a remote trailhead, it should give us the chance to have a fun post race party in Ohiopyle.

COURSE

A point to point race on the gorgeous Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail. Beginning in Hidden Valley / Somerset just off Rt 31 heading South on the LHHT to its terminus in Ohiopyle, PA.

The route is run entirely on the LHHT and has over 4,700 elevation ascent and 6,200 elevation descent. You'll be counting your way down from Mile Marker 31 to 0 and finishing just beyond the "gate" on Garrett Rd

AID STATIONS

Aid Stations confirmed at course mile 5.6 (Mile Marker 26), mile12.5 (mile marker 19), and mile 19.5 (mile marker 11), & Mile 24 potentially. All will be fully stocked and staffed.

We take pride in our aid stations and can get you what you need. And we take requests when you register! Our established community of amazing volunteers and staff will be ready for you. Skratch is typically our electrolyte hydration. We'll have a lot of AS staples, like fruit, pb&j, potatoes, pretzels, chips, and some candy. And we often throw in some broth, bacon, quesadillas and pierogies. Vegan and GF options available in food, gels, starches and more.

CREW / SPECTATORS / PACERS

Spectators will have access to the aid stations at Miles 5.5, 9.5 and 19.5 to crew and cheer for racers

Pacers can join their racer only at Mile 19.5

RACE DAY!

6:00 AM: Check-in opens
7:30 AM: Race starts
TBD: Cutoff at Mile 19.5
5:30PM: Finish Line Cutoff

PARKING & SHUTTLE

Start Line parking will be at the "Snowmobile" Lot on Rt 31.
Finish Line parking will be in Ferncliffe Lot in Ohiopyle.

There is a shuttle available before the race. Park at the Finish Lot in Ohiopyle and be transported to the Start Line. The shuttle will be $15 to help us cover the cost and can be selected in the checkout process.

AWARDS

Every finisher will receive a finisher award. Top awards given to Non-Binary 1st/2nd/3rd, Female 1st/2nd/3rd and Male 1st/2nd/3rd.
