Welcome to The Double Down Wippersnapperz Fun Run

Welcome to year 1 of The Double Down Wippersnapperz Fun Run at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park. This event offers a fun 1 Cross-Country loop that is perfect for some fun for your little Wippersnapper. The event benefits the Ashland-Greenwood Unified Programs. The evening fun will kickoff at the beautiful Eugene T. Mahoney State Park Located between Nebraska's two biggest cities in Ashland, NE on Friday May 31, 2024 starting at 6pm.This event is open for runners 5- 15 years of age.

Benefiting a great cause this will be a fun and and great way for many runners and their families to kickoff our race weekend at Mahoney State Park and you won't want to miss out! Reserve your spot today because this years field will be limited to just 100 runners!

Location and Start Times:
Start/Finish Eugene T. Mahoney State Park in Ashland, NE
· 1mile runner/walkers will start at 6pm.
· There will be 30 minute race time limit for the event.

Kids Participants will complete 1 Full 1mile Course Loop

Event Information
Field limit: 100 runners
· 1mile Trail/Cross Country loop Conditions: Cross Country/ Single Track Trail.
·Each kids participant will have a recorded time for the event. Results will be posted as quickly as possible.
· The Start/Finish line will have Water post event snacks.
· Race rules summary Full Course maps (Coming Soon)
and will be sent via email or posted here prior to race day, notification updates as they take place.

Runner expectations
All fun run runners are responsible for their own good sportsmanship and conduct, as well as their pacer.
We ask that you remain aware of your surroundings for everyone’s safety.
This is a CLOSED COURSE to the Public however Participants will have access to parking during the day. Runner Safety is our priority.
Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable to other events.

Parking and Course 1mile course map upcoming on 3/31. Each child may have 1 adult pacer if desired. For documentation you will need to let us know the name of adult at check in at packet pick up on 5/30 or 5/31 only.
