Rockin'K Trail races VR
We did the Virtual race option last year it was well received by many runners. Some runners really wanted to run this year, but were not able to attend the race this year. We have set up the Rockin'K 26th Anniversary VR. A virtual option for these runners, and we would like to offer a modified option to all those interested in earning one of our Rockin'K Trail races medals. I've participated in a few virtual races. Of course nothing beats the actual race. But they can be as authentic as you choose to make it. We will set up checkpoints on the virtual course, so you can see some of the scenery at Kanopolis lake state park. The highlights, gate 6 aid station, horseshoe bend, Big Bluff Loop, beaver dam and water crossings. You will get a virtual bib number, Rockin'K T-shirt - optional, and of course the famous Rockin'K Horseshoe finisher medal. Register, run your miles. At your home route, on trails, on the road, on a treadmill, out at Kanopolis if you like! Set your own pace, report your miles and time and we will send you your swag. Maybe you'll get motivated to come out and run with us in person next time!
We will have a limited number of spots. Registration for the event will run thru December 31, 2024 or while supplies last.
Medal and shirt, if ordered, will ship shortly after you report your miles.
All proceeds from this will be donated to Alzheimer's Association.
