NATRO (Native American Trail Running Organization) is dedicated to empowering Native American communities by celebrating culture, strengthening our connection to the land, and promoting wellness through trail running.
We are committed to:
• Fostering inclusivity by welcoming runners of all backgrounds and experience levels

RACE INFORMATION
Welcome to the Annual NATRO @ SOBOBA Trail Race!
This year’s race will start and finish at The Oaks at the Soboba Indian Reservation and marks the inaugural NATRO (Native American Trail Running Organization) Marathon Championship.
Race distances include:
• Marathon (Native Championship Event)
• Half Marathon
• 5K Run
• Kids 3K Walk/Run (Ages 12 & Under)
Both Native and Open divisions will be offered, with awards presented to the top male and female finishers in each distance, excluding the Kids 3K. All participants will receive finisher awards, and the first 100 registered runners will receive an official race T-shirt.
Race Details
• Marathon Cut-Off Time: 8 hours
• No drop-downs between race distances will be allowed
• Start Time: 7:00 AM (Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5K)
• Kids 3K Start Time: 8:00 AM
• Bib Pick-Up / Check-In: 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM
• Race Day Registration: 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM (Cash & Zelle only)
• No refunds
• Rain or shine event
• Cup-less race — participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration bottles or packs
• Registration is limited to 100 entrants
Native Runner Discount
A registration discount is available for Native runners. To receive a coupon code, runners must email Race Director Sheldon Subith at ssubith32@gmail.com and provide proof of Tribal affiliation prior to registration.
Giving Back
A portion of race proceeds will benefit the Noli Indian School Robert “Bobby” Salgado Scholar-Athlete Scholarship, supporting a Noli student and the school’s Athletic Department.
