Prairie Goat VK 2025: Conquer the Climb, Year Two!
You showed us what was possible last year, on the banks of the Red River Floodway. Now, the Prairie Goat VK returns for its second year, and we're challenging you to conquer the climb! Join us on Treaty 1 territory, the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Ojibwe-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the Red River Métis Nation.
We're bringing back the challenge you loved: a relentless 400m loop, a demanding 1000m of elevation gain (and descent!), and the ultimate quest: conquer 30 ascents before the clock hits 12. Can you tame the Prairie Goat in year two?

The Course:
Each lap presents a demanding singletrack climb followed by a rapid descent, with the summit aid station as your mid-loop checkpoint.
Race Day Breakdown:
- Bibs: 7:00 AM - 7:40 AM.
- Racer Meeting: 7:45 AM.
- Start: 8:00 AM.
- Cutoff: 12:00 PM.
- Aid Station Fuel: Water, electrolytes, energy bars, fruit, and more. BYO cup!
