Race info
We are so excited for the third Great Shasta Rail trail run! This is a relatively flat course with very nice footing. All distances are out and back. 12 hr cut off for all distances. Starting just outside of McCloud with views of Mt Shasta. Great course for a first go at the distance, or to set a new PR. It is pretty straight forward...literally. Beautiful crisp mountain air surrounded by incredible views. All runners will get a shirt and an after race meal. All finishers will get a finisher medal!
This run benefits the Great Shasta rail trail. It is a beautiful scenic route. We would like to help preserve the rail trail for continued use, and keep its rich history alive. To learn more about the rail trail go to https://www.greatshastarailtrail.org/. This is a vacation destination! So, visit some of the amazing historic natural sights while you're here! Burney Falls, Lasson Nation Park, Subway cave, destination fly fishing, and so much more!
Swag deadline June 23rd!
**We have deleted the Burro race option for this year at The Great Shasta Rail Trail. There was not enough Burro racers to make it feasible** We have Burro race option still at Burney Basin Days as well as Weekend at Burney!**
