Welcome to the Ellie Biscuit 20 & 10-Mile Trail Trot, presented by Dune Lakes Private Wealth Advisors. We are so glad you are here! The Ellie Biscuit will be taking place on Saturday, January 24th, 2025 at Pt Washington State Forest. Start/finish is at the Eastern Lake Trailhead off of CR-395S. The 20-miler kicks off at 7:00am, the 10-mile race at 7:30am. As always, this is a relatively bare bones, no frills kind of run, but all runners who register before January 8th will receive the always awesome coveted Ellie Biscuit hoodie!
Course
Again, the Ellie Biscuit will be starting at the Pt Washington State Forest Eastern Lake trailhead, off of CR-395S. The courses themselves are on the Pt Washington State Forest trail system. For those unfamiliar with the Pt Washington State Forest…to be sure, it’s Florida forest at its absolute finest! A truly beautiful course. The 10-miler will consist of a single loop of the 10-mile course, with the 20-miler consisting of two laps of the 10-mile loop.

Terrain
While on the trails you can expect tree roots, rocks, sand, fallen over trees, and potentially, if there's rain, standing water and mud. In other words, pure awesomeness!!! Again, I just wanted to discuss the terrain so no one shows up on race day expecting a groomed running path with no trip hazards and with aspirations of going home with clean shoes. Simply put, not gonna happen!
Awards + Swag
All participants who register prior to January 8th will receive the beloved Ellie Biscuit race hoodie. It's going to be way cool! There will be awards given to the men’s and women’s overall winners and runner ups from each course. First place male and female age group winners will also receive an award. All registered runners who successfully complete their race will receive an always cool finisher’s award.
(Awards and finishers medals not picked up at the event can be shipped to home address at runners expense if needed.)

Refund Policy
Refund Policy
As a runner, it’s inevitable that at some point you’ll register for a race and later find out you’re unable to make it to the start line. It happens to all of us. Race registrations open months in advance, and life happens in between — injuries, work, family emergencies, and unexpected situations.
We absolutely get it — truly. Many of us have signed up for races we couldn’t attend, and we know firsthand that it’s disappointing.
However, even if the race hasn’t occurred yet, we’ve already incurred significant expenses to make the event happen. We pay taxes on registration income, secure permits, purchase insurance, and order supplies such as signage, course markings, bibs, hats, medals, and other awards. For these reasons, we are unable to offer refunds.
Transfers
While we cannot issue refunds, we can offer you the option to transfer your registration to another runner. Registered participants may transfer their bib to another runner within the designated transfer period. It is the participant’s responsibility to complete the transfer process by the posted deadlines.
