2025 Southern Singletrack Trail Series – Short and Long Series
Just a little over an hour south of the southern suburbs of Atlanta, in the west central area of Georgia (and a little over into east Alabama), lies some of the best trail running around! If you are ready for a new challenge of some awesome single track, then The Southern Singletrack Trail Series is for you!
In an effort to promote trail running in our community and introduce runners to our surrounding parks trails, Southern Singletrack Trail Running is offering a series of 4 races this year. For those runners who like to really test their limits, register for the Short or Long Distance series. We'll keep score throughout the year and there will be awards for overall winners.
Choose Short Series or Long Series
You are registering for either all the short races or all the long races.
Registering for the Short Distance Series enters you in the following races for a lump sum price of $212.00.
1) February 9 – West Point Break – 5K (West Point Lake)
2) April 12 – Bucky’s Boot Top Prohibition Run – 7K (FDR State Park)
3) September 14 – Chewacla Cha Cha – 5K (Chewacla State Park)
4) December 14 – Holiday Hootie Hoo – 10K (FDR State Park)
Registering for the Long Distance Series enters you in the following races for a lump sum price of $261.00.
1) February 9 – West Point Break – 10K (West Point Lake)
2) April 12 – Bucky’s Boot Top Prohibition Run – 21K (FDR State Park)
3) September 14 – Chewacla Cha Cha – 10K (Chewacla State Park)
4) December 14 – Holiday Hootie Hoo – Half Marathon (FDR State Park)
If you intend to run the entire series, register for all events instead of the individual races for a price break and guaranteed swag throughout the year.
Registration for the Short Series and the Long Series ends on January 31, 2025.
Special “Southern Singletrack Trail Series” awards will be given for series winners in the following categories:
Overall Male/Female (1st)
Runners must complete all events to be eligible to win and must register as a Short Series or Long Series participant.
