The Races

Roaring Gap
The Gateway to Adventure

Kick off the series with the Roaring Gap race, set in North Carolina’s stunning backcountry. With its rugged and picturesque trails, this event offers a thrilling start to your Dirty Wolf journey. Choose between the 50K or 25K distances and take in the beauty of nature while testing your limits.

Leatherwood Ultra
Where Trails Meet Memories

The heart of the series, the Leatherwood Ultra is set on private horse trails that circle the breathtaking Leatherwood Mountains Resort. With distances ranging from 100 miles to 25K, this race is both challenging and rewarding. The tough elevation gains, forested paths, and stunning overlooks will leave you with lasting memories of endurance and accomplishment.

Black Copperhead Sting
The City Ultra Adventure

Conclude the series with the Black Copperhead Sting, a dynamic urban ultra on the trails of Rocky Branch Park in Belmont. This fast, looping course winds through the Catawba Thread Trail and Beaver Run Trail, featuring the infamous "Giant Hill." Offering both 50K and 25K distances, this race is the perfect finale for your Dirty Wolf journey.
