The Trails will be well marked and if the trails are in good condition (not too wet) then we will have one loop for the 5k and another for the 10K. Bring a crew and come out and enjoy the wonderful trails at Fair Hill, run, walk, enjoy!

Who We Are

This race is being brought to you by the Police Unity Tour, specifically Chapter IX. We are a 501c3 non-profit and each year from May 9th - May 12 our members cycle 270 miles over 4 days - from Valley Forge, PA to Washington, D.C. We do this to Honor the memory of our Fallen Law Enforcement Officers who have been killed in the line of duty, to raise public awareness of their sacrifice, and to financially support the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. Since 1997 The Police Unity Tour, all Chapters combined, has raised and donated 37 million dollars to The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. Go to our website to read more about what we do:

Why this Event Is Important

We are hosting this event to help provide additional funding for our annual event so that we can donate even more money to our Memorial. While our members must raise sponsor funds in order to participate, the event cost, such as lodging, food, gas, porta-johns, vehicle rentals, vehicle maintenance, insurance, etc., have all risen considerably and so as a Chapter we are trying to have fundraisers to offset these cost so that more of our money can go to our Memorial.

Refunds

There will not be a refund for this race and there will be no Bib transfers. If you cannot make it then know that your entry fee will go to a great cause!

Distances, Start and Finish

The distances are as close as possible to the 5K and 10K distances. The race will start and finish at the Edward Walls Activity Center and there are restrooms inside the hall.

Routes

Below are the GPS maps of the 5K 'DRY' run and 10K 'WET' trail run.

If the trails are wet, then we will utilize the 'Gravel Route' below for both the 5K and 10K.

If the trails are dry, then the 5K runners will run the 5K trail and the 10K runners will run the 5K 'DRY' trail run and then flow into the 5K 'Wet' gravel run which will eliminate road crossings and runner open up their stride some and still enjoy beautiful scenery and a running through a tunnel!!
