Q. What items are allowed on the property? A. We allow contained fires (smokeless pits) and grills in the village. No open fires please.
Q. Will there be music on the course? A. Yes, there will be music throughout every minute of the race. In fact, once you register, you will receive a link to add your music to the Spotify playlist being rotated through the entire race. Keep it clean!!
Q. Will there be aid in the course or is it self-supported? A. The entire event will be self-supported with no support crew allowed on the trail. There will not be staff aid. If any emergency arises, an ambulance will be called at the discretion of the staff and the expense of the participant.
Q. Can I bring a crew? Are there limits on crew size or parking? A. Yes — crews are welcome. However, due to limited on-site parking and village space, we are implementing updated parking policies for 2026. Each runner is permitted one (1) approved on-site vehicle. The vehicle must fit within a standard parking space. No RVs, motorhomes, oversized vans, or trailers will be permitted in the on-site lot. Any additional vehicles associated with your crew will be directed to a designated satellite parking lot and shuttled to and from the race venue. All crew members and spectators must follow race support and viewing guidelines. These policies are in place to protect the experience, safety, and flow of the event.
Q. What is the closest airport to the Farm? A. Charlotte International Airport
Q. What are typical weather highs and lows at that time of year in Charlotte? A. In Charlotte, North Carolina, the average high temperature in May is 76°F to 83°F, and the average low is 55°F to 63°F
Q. Do I need a driver if I plan to run into the night? A. Yes. For safety reasons, any runner who begins Lap 8 (ultra distance) must have a designated driver to leave the premises. Fatigue impairment is real — especially in the overnight hours. To reduce risk to participants and the surrounding community, runners who start Lap 8 are not permitted to drive themselves home. You may: Bring a designated driver, Coordinate with a crew member, Arrange transportation in advance. Race staff may delay departure if a runner appears unsafe to operate a vehicle. This policy is in place purely for athlete and community safety.
