Join us for the St. Patrick's TREK 5K & 10K trail run through the scenic and challenging Waterloo Lake Trail in Denison, TX where rolling hills, red rock cliffs, and flowing rivers await! $5 of each registration goes towards the Children's Advocacy Center.

Our Cause - Children's Advocacy Center

$5 of each registration goes towards the Children's Advocacy Center where their mission is to provide a multi-disciplinary collaboration of services for the purpose of prevention, intervention, investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse. This collaboration is an effort to reduce the potential for additional trauma by promoting recovery of the child victim and non-offending family members, and facilitating the prosecution of those individuals who perpetrate crimes against children in Grayson County, TX.

Course Overview

- Surface: Technical rock and dirt single track, rocky/rooty trails, & bridges
- Course: Tree Trail + Lookout Mountain Loop
- Elevation: Slight elevation per 5K loop
- Location: Waterloo Lake Park (1000 Waterloo Lake Dr, Denison, TX 75020)
- Weather: Average Historic Temperatures for mid-March 63-70 degrees Fahrenheit
- Cupless Race: Please bring a cup or bottle, we don't serve cups!

Registration/Price Increase

Registration closes at midnight before the races start or at 100 participant capacity. No race day registration is available.

These price increases will follow for 5K:
- Opening $35
- Feb 14 $40
- Feb 28 $45

These price increases will follow for 10K:
- Opening $45
- Feb 14 $50
- Feb 28 $55

Runners may receive a full race credit to any race of their choosing with a minimum 30-day notice. Race credits cannot be transferred for notices less than 30 days. We do not offer full refunds. Receive your credit by canceling your registration. To cancel, log into Ultrasignup > Registration History and select “Edit” to cancel your race. Your credit needs to be used within one year. If you need an extended time to use your credit due to medical reasons (including pregnancy) or military deployments, please reach out beforehand.

We proudly offer discounts for all active duty military & first responders. Please visit our website and contact us to claim your discount. We will ask for a picture of your ID.

Please note, Holiday Races does not ship out race apparel or medals if a runner does not show up for the race.
