Race Info
Sprewell Bluff Park is excited to announce that the Whiskey Still 5K is back again for 2025! This race is held in Thomaston, GA which is just 50 miles south of Atlanta. Sprewell Bluff Park is one of the most beautiful and best kept secrets in Georgia. It features the gently flowing Flint River that meanders thru steep Rocky Bluffs. When you see the magnificent views from the bluffs you won't believe you are in Central Georgia. Proceeds to benefit Sprewell Bluff Park!
Whiskey Still 5K
The 5K is beautiful and winds along the Flint River on singletrack trails and runs by an old whiskey still. The race will begin at 8:30 AM.
Parking
There is plenty of parking at the park. Please be prepared to pay the $5 park pass since it is not included in the race fee.

Awards: Overall Male and Female prize for each age group will be whiskey jugs. Age groups: 20 and Under, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
No transfers, refunds or deferments allowed.
ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS ALLOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Cost: Children 10 and Under $30, Regular $45
Swag
Awards will be given to the top male and female. Top male and female in each age group will receive a whiskey jug. All 5K finishers will receive a specialty pair of running crew socks. All runners will receive a Cotton Twill Trucker Hat (if signed up by April 5.)
Aid Station
There will be a hydration stop on the course.
There will be an aid station at the start/finish of the loop that will have all the usual fare:food (i.e. pretzels, bananas), and water.
Bring your own water bottle or pack for hydration! This is a cupless race.
