Description
Join MissionCleanWater for a fully crewed, charity-focused run across the Lenape Trail. A 34 mile bucket-list route that includes 18 parks and 11 municipalities across Essex County, running from Branch Brook Park (Newark) to South Mountain Reservation (Millburn).
Go solo (34 miles) or tackle it as a 3 to 6 person relay. Either way, we handle the logistics and meet you throughout the day so you can focus on moving forward, soaking in the parks, and finishing something you’ll talk about for years.
This trail gives you everything: pavement, gravel, singletrack, navigation, city energy, forest quiet, and iconic moments.
Choose Your Format
You have the option to complete Solo or as a 3-6 person relay team.
Solo participants are provided full support including logistics, portable aid stations, and day of support.

Expected Game Day Plan
On Adventure Day, here's what to expect. Once registered, our team will guide you on what to expect and help you plan for the big day. On Adventure Day, we will gather at the South Mountain Reservation parking area in Milburn at 7 am. We'll load up our two support vans and carpool to the trailhead in Newark, NJ, starting the adventure promptly at 8 am.
Every participant will be sent an adventure packet when they register and one week prior to the start date so you have all the information you need. In your adventure packets and during virtual meetings, you'll find valuable tips on using mobile GPS apps, trail navigation, and required gear to bring. The trail will feature 5 checkpoints spaced 3-8 miles apart, offering resupplies for food, hydration, and the option to drop off or grab extra layers. We'll ensure every adventurer is supported, and at the finish line – back where we started – you'll be all set! We'll wait for each participant, celebrating the completion of an incredible journey.
