Location
Willow Creek State Recreation Area (SRA) is a state park in northeastern Nebraska, United States. The recreation area is located on the 700 acre Willow Creek Reservoir, approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of Pierce, or about 15 miles (24 km) northwest of Norfolk. The recreation area is managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Our race is where competitors must consecutively run the distance of 6.706 kilometres (4.167 mi) in less than one hour, which is a pace of 100 miles per 24 hours. The race is over when only one runner remains to complete a lap. This runner is marked as the winner and only finisher, with all other runners receiving a "DNF" (Did Not Finish).
Course
4.167 mile on Crush limestone is the terrain.
Food
We will have some food available at all times: chips, cookies, peanuts/nuts, boiled potatoes, candy, fruits, vegetables, grilled cheese (made to order), peanut butter & jelly sandwich/wrap, hummus, and pickles. Tailwind sports drink will be provided as the electrolyte of choice. We will also have a variety of drinks (water, coffee, pickle juice) and ice available throughout the race as well. The menu will be the same each day. All hot meals will have a vegan/vegetarian option (vegan soup, vegan quesadilla/cheese, veggie burgers, etc).
Lodging
Willow Creek State Recreation Area offers Electric Plus, Electric, Basic, Equestrian Electric Plus and Equestrian Basic camping.
Willow Way Campground includes 165 campsites with electricity and numerous Basic campsites for those that do not need electricity. Additional amenities include picnic tables, fire ring/grills, drinking water, dump and fill station, modern restrooms, showers and laundry. The dump and fill station is located in the town of Pierce, about 5 miles from the lake. Willow Creek SRA campers can find the dump and fill station next to the Pierce County Courthouse.
Reservations may be made for half of the campsites at Willow Creek SRA and the remainder are available first-come, first-served. Those camping first-come, first-served register their nightly camping fees in a raised, locked box called an iron ranger. Self-service envelopes are provided at each iron ranger station. Check or cash only. Iron rangers are generally located near the park entrance or in the campground area. On-site camping informational signs are provided to help guide campers with the self-registration process.
Crew Stations
Will be at Start/Finish only at Day Use Area 2. You can set up your station around the Start/Finish area only. No crewing on the course or at any other destination locations.
