This year, join us for a fun, family friendly and casual 5k on the Saturday morning of the 5Point Film festival. There will be age group prizes, 2 ticket giveaways for the 2026 film festival and much more. Come out and celebrate this awesome weekend running with us presented by Independence Run and Hike!!!

Date: Saturday, 4/26/25
Time: Race starts at 8:00am. Completed by 10:00am

Location/Route:
-Start/Finish will begin and end at the 1st Bank location on Hwy 133 in Carbondale. Runners will exit the bank parking lot taking a right and then a left along the sidewalk that runs behind the City Market complex. At Main Street they will take a right turn heading down towards the Crystal River and CRMS on the sidewalk along the road. They will take a right and cut through the CRMS campus to Delores Way/Satank road in Satank. Runners will take a right onto Sopris road, followed by a left on to Pine Street, and then left onto Glenwood Avenue, crossing the bridge onto the Rio Grande Trail. They will then make a right onto the Rio Grande Trail following the trail to the Carbondale bus station intersection. Runners will cross the bus station entrance with crossing guard and head South along Hwy 133 on the sidewalk. They will continue straight crossing Dolores Way, eventually making a right at the 1st bank into the parking lot to the finish.
