Join us for the Second Annual DeKalb Firefighter 5K/10K, an exciting event celebrating public land access, community, and the dedication of our local firefighters! This race is authorized under a special use permit from the Missouri Department of Conservation and will take participants through a scenic course highlighting a mix of single track trail and old logging roads.
Race Details:
Cupless Race: To reduce waste and promote sustainability, this will be a cupless race. Runners should bring their own reusable hydration containers.
Hydration Stations: Water and electrolytes will be available at the start/finish line and one aid station along the course.
Race Timing: The event will be officially timed, with results available post-race.
Registration & Packet Pick-Up:
Check-in begins at 8:30 AM. Participants must check in prior to their race start.
Bib numbers and race details will be provided at check-in.
Awards & Recognition:
Awards will be presented to the top Male and Female finishers. All finishers will be awarded a challenge coin specific to their distance. Stay after the race to celebrate with fellow participants and enjoy the firefighter-themed event atmosphere!
