Wawayanda State Park decided to not host ANY events in 2026. This is not ideal, or what we planned for, but we are still committed to providing an amazing race day!
GOOD NEWS - WE SECURED A NEW LOCATION! THE NOT SO GREAT NEWS - WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OFFER THE 100K DISTANCE. (more info below)
Here are the KEY EVENT UPDATES that you need to know:
- 2026 RACER GUIDE: Updated on 4/6/2026, See link below.
- NEW LOCATION: Start/Finish @ Harriman State Park, Lake Welch, Parking Area 1
- START TIMES: 50M-5:00AM / 50K-6:30AM / 13.1-9:00AM
- 100K: Because of time constraints from the park we CANNOT offer the distance.
Here are the KEY COURSE UPDATES that you need to know:
- COURSES APPROVED: The park approved the proposed routes.
- COURSE MAPS: 2026 Maps
- ELEVATION: There is more elevation than the Wawa course (50M ~ 7,800ft / 50K ~ 4,900ft / 13.1 ~ 1,700ft) so prepare yourself for that.
- TERRAIN: A little more more technical than Wawa. A mixture of flowy single track, forest roads, rocks, roots and some roads.
- AID STATIONS / PACE CHART / CUTOFFS: Aid Station distances, Cutoff Times and general pacing can be found at the link below. See Racer Guide below!
- PACERS: 50M Pacers start at Mile 38 (Main Event), and 50K pacers can start at Mile 21 (Water Tower). Pacers are not allowed for the 13.1.
- SPECTATORS: More info to come, but we'll find great spots for them to find you on course.

COURSE (PROPOSED) - TO BE CONFIRMED SOON!
The course winds through Harriman State Park. The 50K loop is ALL unique trails. NO repeats. The 50Mile has approximately 35miles of unique trails with some overlap to get the complete distance.
The COURSE ROUTES: Can be found on our Wawayanda PLOTAROUTE COLLECTION. Toggle on the Course you'd like to see and use the upper right MENU option for MORE INFO, elevation, gps downloads and more.
UPDATES: We'll announce when the course routes are confirmed.
AID STATIONS
We 4 fully stocked Aid Station locations. Distance and locations can be found in the Racer Guide.
The 50Mile will have 8 Aid Stations, the 50K 4 Aid Stations, and the Half Marathon 2 Aid Stations.
We take pride in our aid stations and take requests upon registration for any runner favorites! Our growing community of amazing volunteers and staff will be ready for you. Skratch is typically our electrolyte hydration. We'll have a lot of AS staples, like fruit, pb&j, potatoes, pretzels, chips, and some candy. And we often throw in some broth, bacon, quesadillas and pierogi. Vegan and GF options available in food, gels, starches and more.

CREW / PACERS / SPECTATORS
The 50M Pacers are allowed to start with their racers around mile 38.
The 50K pacers can start with your racer around mile 21.
There are no pacers allowed for the half marathon.

4:15 AM: Check-in opens
5 AM: 50M Starts
6:30 AM: 50K Starts
9AM: Half Marathon Starts
1:28PM: 50M Cutoff (Mile 31.5)
2:04PM: 50K Cutoff (Mile 21)
7:00 PM: 50M & 50K Finish HARD cutoff
ARRIVAL & PARKING

CAMPING!
- We received confirmation from the park that Beaver Pond Campground (adjacent to Lake Welch) will have Walk-up camping spots available on Friday 4/24 and Saturday 4/25.

AWARDS
Every finisher will receive a finisher award. Top awards given to Non-Binary 1st/2nd/3rd, Female 1st/2nd/3rd and Male 1st/2nd/3rd in each distance.
