EVENT OVERVIEW

The Caprock Night Runs is a 4M, Half Marathon, & Marathon trail run held in Caprock Canyon State Park deep in the canyon in West Texas at night. The course is dirty, rocky, and hilly. The race follows a looped course for the marathons beginning and ending at the Lakeside Group Shelter.

COURSE OVERVIEW

- Surface: Dirty & Rocky Single-Track Trail.
- Course: 13 mile Looped Course on Eagle Point, North & South Prong, & Wild Horse Trail.
- Elevation: Hilly Showing 1300ft Elevation Gain Per 13 mile Loop
- Location: Lakeside Group Shelter at Caprock Canyon State Park
- Weather: Approximately 60-70 degrees in nighttime September weather
- No Cup Race: We don't serve cups, please make sure to bring your own water-carrying system!
- Pacer: Only 1 Pacer Per Runner and only allowed in Last Half of Race (Signup Here)

Schedule - Saturday
6:30PM to 8PM Packet Pickup + Texas Outlaw Running Pop Up Store
7:30PM - Marathon starts
8:00PM - Half Marathon starts
8:30PM - 4M starts
*headlamp required for ALL particpants*

Sunday
4AM - cutoff for all events (8 hours)

Ruck Weight requirements
- If you weigh more than 150 lbs = 30 lb. Ruck
- If you weigh less than 150 lbs = 20 lb. Ruck
Ruck Sack or Vest are allowed
