Spend Valentine’s Day pushing your limits at one of Missouri’s most scenic trail venues. The Iron Heart Ultra Race delivers endurance, challenge, and camaraderie in the heart of the Ozarks. Whether this is your first trail race or your next ultra buckle, there’s a distance for you.

Start Times & Cutoffs
Race Start: 7:00 a.m. — Saturday, February 14
Cutoff: 32 hours (race ends at 3:00 p.m. Sunday)
Early Start (100 Mile only): 3:00 a.m. start with a 36-hour cutoff
Early starters are not eligible for overall male or female awards
Start time adjusted due to sunrise at 6:57 a.m. for runner safety and visibility.

Course Details
Runners will experience two scenic trails within Maramec Spring Park:
Leatherbritches Trail (1.5 miles): Forested trail with views of the historic Maramec Iron Works mine pit
BallHooter Trail (3.4 miles): Moderately challenging loop with ~246 feet of elevation gain
Aid Station
Pacers
100 Mile: allowed after mile 50
100K: allowed starting at mile 52 (final lap)
Pacers must check in and wear a pacer bib
No pacers allowed for other distances

Custom Iron Heart belt buckles for 100 Mile, 100K, 50 Mile, and 50K
Camping allowed in the parking lot (no hookups)
Spectators and well-behaved pets welcome
