Course
The 5K route starts at 1011 Butler Street and takes runners through the heart of Silver Cliff before connecting to the scenic Park-to-Park Trail. The course is a mix of gentle hills and flat stretches, all framed by high-mountain vistas. Participants will make their way to the town’s historic cemetery—a fascinating landmark where runners and walkers alike can pause to soak in stories of the past.
For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, the 2-mile walk follows the same picturesque route to the cemetery. Starting at 9:30 AM, it’s the perfect blend of light exercise and historical exploration, making it a meaningful option for families, history buffs, and community members of all ages.
Runner Experience
What truly sets this event apart is the vibrant, festival-like atmosphere. As part of the 2nd Annual Silver Cliff Community Park FUN Day, participants are welcomed into a full day of celebration. After your run, stick around for cornhole, horseshoes, pickleball, a golf challenge, a home run derby, and even a tractor pull. Enjoy live music, a beer tent, and food vendors—all running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The top three finishers in the 5K will take home prizes, but everyone wins a day filled with mountain air, laughter, and connection.
Registration Details
The 5K run costs $25 to enter, with online registration available via UltraSignup or onsite at 8:30 AM on race day. The 2-mile walk is just $10, with registration beginning at 9:00 AM. All proceeds go toward vital improvements to the community park, including new playground equipment and the construction of a four-court pickleball facility. Your steps support a cause worth every stride.
