Join us for Run for the Rim, a Pine Creek Fall Classic, a one-of-a-kind 5K and 10K race held during the annual Fall Festival at Pine Creek Seed Farm! Runners and walkers alike will enjoy a scenic course that winds through the picturesque back roads of Jersey Shore, at the start of the best season of the year.

But this isn’t your average race—our course includes a fun and challenging twist: a loop through the farm’s legendary corn maze! Whether you're aiming for a PR or just here for the seasonal vibes, Run for the Rim promises a memorable experience for all ages and fitness levels.

After the race, stick around to enjoy all the Fall Festival has to offer—food, drinks, and vendors opening at noon!

Race Highlights:

Scenic back-road course. Great for beginners, or flat and fast for experienced runners.

Family-friendly and open to all ages

Stay after the race to enjoy the vendors, food, and drinks. Stay all evening and enjoy the Clark McLane band and take a trip through the corn maze with family and friends!

Here at Run for the Rim, we love dogs and we all have one. We love your dogs just as much as our own. However, for the safety of our participants there aren't any dogs allowed to participate in the race. Thank you!

Course Description

The 10k route will take you on a loop around the scenic Tiadaghton Avenue and River Road before looping through the corn maze with a final stretch on the road to the finish line.

The 5k route will take you on a more brief road pass and a trip through the corn maze!

Aid Stations and Support

Hydration stations and cheerful volunteers will be on hand to keep you fueled and focused. This is a friendly, welcoming event designed to support runners of all levels—whether you're a seasoned runner or lacing up for your first 5K.

Runner Experience

When you cross the finish line, the fun is just getting started. Run for the Rim is part of Pine Creek Seed's big fall celebration, meaning you’ll be greeted by a bustling festival as the morning unfolds. Enjoy local vendors, food trucks, drink stands, and family-friendly activities—all right on-site. It's the perfect way to cool down, refuel, and spend the day.

Practical Details

This event is the major annual fundraiser for the Jersey Shore Boys Basketball Booster Club, with all race proceeds directly supporting local athletes.
