The Woodbooger 5K is part of the annual Woodbooger Festival held in the City of Norton, Virginia. The race is held on city's Flag Rock Area Trails system in Flag Rock Recreation Area. The Woodbooger Festival is a three-day festival highlighting Norton's natural resources, folklore, and history, including the mythical Woodbooger, a Bigfoot-like creature rumored to roam Flag Rock Recreation Area.
