EVENT OVERVIEW
The Cossatot River Trail Run is an endurance event featuring a trail 12.5M "Half Marathon" & 25M "Marathon" in the Ouchitas along the Cossatot River of Arkansas at Cossatot River State Park. The event follows 12.5 point to point and out n' back trail ending in Wickes AR at the State Park!
COURSE OVERVIEW
- Surface: Rocky, rooty, grassy & dirt single-track trails.
- Course: River Corridor Trail
- Elevation: Hilly 2000ft for "half marathon" 4000ft for "marathon"
- Location: Cossatot River State Park - Natural Area (1980 US-278, Wickes, AR 71973)
- Weather: Historic Average 51-72 degrees
- No Cup Race: We don't serve cups, please make sure to bring your own water-carrying system!

*Everyone parks and finishes at Visitor Center*
6AM-7AM - Packet Pickup Opens @Visitor Center
6AM - "Marathon" Starts
6:50AM - Packet Pickup for "Half Marathon" Closes
7AM - Shuttle for "Half Marathon" Leaves from Visitor Center
7:40AM - Shuttle Arrives at Bushy Creek
7:50AM - "Half Marathon" begins @Bushy Creek Recreation Area
2PM - Cutoff for All Events (8 Hours for Marathon)

OUTLAW MEMBERSHIP
Most runners who do one Outlaw race end up doing several a year. If you already know this won’t be your last, check out Outlaw Membership. Pay once, get race credits you can use on eligible Outlaw events all year, plus member‑only perks and priority access on select races. You still register through RunSignup/UltraSignup like normal, but members use special codes at checkout so their entries are covered. If you’re planning 3 or more races this season, it usually pays for itself on your way to the start line.
