Hózhó Academy Senior Class Fundraiser

Join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at The Fox Run Golf Course in Gallup, NM for an evening of fitness, fun, and community! The "Sunset Run" 5K, 10K and fun run is a school-driven fundraising event organized to raise money for the Hózhó Academy Senior Class. Participants can run or walk while enjoying the beautiful New Mexico sunset. Glow sticks, music, bake sale and so much more. Prizes for category winners and all registered racers will receive a registration packet, vinyl sticker and free refreshments.

The senior class is planning a trip to London, Paris and Rome in the Spring of 2026 to see many of the historical sites they have been learning about throughout their high school career. This trip will provide a unique and once in a lifetime opportunity for students to travel and experience other cultures. Hózhó Academy is also dedicated to promoting community health and would like to support a community gathering that supports this. All proceeds will go directly to funding the senior class trip. The 5K and 10K run will follow the trail loop around the Fox Run Golf course, and the fun run will take place on an inner 2K loop. The weather is magical this time of year, so plan for light layers with temperatures in the mid 70´s. The runs will take place during dusk but finished before it is completely dark (sunset time 715 pm). Award ceremony to directly follow races. Thank you for all your support!

Contingency Plan

This is a rain or shine event. In the case of severe weather, event will be cancelled. Non-refundable, all proceeds will be donated to the Senior Class.
