Event Information
Come join us for a ten mile run at the flint Hills Trail Mile Zero Trailhead in Osawatomie, Kansas. The Flint Hills Trail is the longest of Kansas' 3,000 plus miles of public trails. It's a beautiful escape from the big city. The weather is typically cool and calm although you never know in Kansas! Finishers get trail-themed medals and will compete for overall awards. Cost is $40/person.
Packet pickup is at 7AM. The race starts at 8AM and the awards ceremony will start approximately at 10:30. The race will conclude at 12PM

About the Second Wind Foundation
The Second Wind Foundation is proud to host this event. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Second Wind works in some of the most vulnerable communities in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Their initiatives include teaching job skills through sewing and leather programs as well as humanitarian endeavors. Monthly, the foundation supports 50 families by providing shelf stable food items, providing over 9,000 pounds of food annually. They want to continue their mission of creating sustainable communities and entrepreneurism for families.
