Strength training doesn’t have to be complicated or intimidating. In this UltraSignup Live, CTS Pro Ultrarunning Coach Sarah Scozzaro will break down how to make strength work approachable, effective, and sustainable for runners of all levels.
💪 Whether you’re strength-curious, getting back into it, or looking for a way to finally stick with a routine, Sarah will cover:
- Why strength training matters for runners (balance, bone density, injury prevention, longevity)
- Simple ways to start: bodyweight moves, DIY equipment, and easy home gym setups
- Breaking the “all-or-nothing” mindset: how to fit it in without overhauling your whole week
- Timing & training balance: when and how to weave strength into your run schedule
- Tools & strategies: from brushing your teeth on one leg to training with extra weight in your vest
You don’t need a fancy gym or hours of extra time, just the willingness to try. Come ready to ask questions and leave with practical strategies to get stronger, healthier, and more confident on the run.
